PrimeStream Setup finds, installs, updates, and launches PrimeStream on supported TVs over your local network.

If ADB is not already available, PrimeStream Setup downloads the official Android Platform Tools package and verifies that it starts.

Google TV / Android TV

Pair with Wireless debugging

Your Windows PC and TV must be connected to the same local network.

On the TV, open Settings → System → About.
Select Android TV OS build seven times to enable Developer options.
Open Developer options → Wireless debugging and turn it on.
Run PrimeStream-Setup.exe and choose Google TV / Android TV.
Select Discover. For first-time pairing, choose Pair device with pairing code on the TV and enter its pairing address and six-digit code.
Connect, select the exact TV, then choose Install / Update.

Amazon Fire TV

Connect with ADB debugging

Your Windows PC and Fire TV must be connected to the same local network.

On the Fire TV, enable Developer Options and ADB Debugging.
Find the Fire TV's IP address in its network settings.
Run PrimeStream-Setup.exe and choose Amazon Fire TV.
Enter the Fire TV IP address and select Connect.
Accept the debugging prompt on the TV if one appears.
Select the exact TV, then choose Install / Update.

Before you begin

Vega OS: Fire TV devices running Amazon's Vega OS cannot install Android APK files and are not supported.
Windows SmartScreen: this preview utility is not code-signed yet. Choose More info → Run anyway only when it came directly from primestreamapp.com.
Privacy: the setup utility does not collect IPTV credentials or send TV details to PrimeStream. ADB traffic stays on your local network.
Authorized content: PrimeStream is a player for content you are authorized to access.
